We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Financial Advice Manager to lead a team of up to 10 Wealth Advisers. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving performance, fostering professional development, and ensuring exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion the Client Experience: Ensure all advice delivered is insightful, compliant, and aligned with client values, life stages, and ambitions.
- Develop and Coach a High-Performance Adviser Team: Lead, support and stretch a growing team of employed advisers – instilling a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous development.
- Drive Commercial Advice Outcomes: Equip advisers with the confidence and tools to uncover opportunities, cross-sell appropriately, and deepen client relationships.
- Set Standards & Elevate Quality: Own the delivery of internal best practices for client review frameworks, onboarding journeys, advice processes, and follow-up protocols.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Operations: Align adviser efforts with marketing-generated leads, communications, and campaigns. Ensure systems and CRM workflows enable excellence at scale.
Role Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a rare combination of leadership, planning acumen, and client empathy:
- Qualifications: Level 6 qualified (Chartered status) - preferred; Investment Advice Diploma (IAD), Level 4 Diploma or equivalent - essential.
- Experience: 8+ years in financial advice, wealth management, or investment planning. Proven day to day management and leadership of advisers, with coaching and mentoring success. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue while maintaining advice quality.
- Skills & Behaviours: Deep understanding of HNW client needs, wealth strategies, and market trends. Clear communicator, calm under pressure, values-driven. Comfortable working cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, ops and compliance. Digitally fluent with CRM and planning tools.
