Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist to support children with complex care needs across the West Midlands. This role offers a strong work–life balance with office and community-based work. As our Paediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping safe, effective, and compassionate care for children with complex health needs.
Role overview
- Manage complex caseloads including paediatric packages
- Develop and review care plans
- Train and assess care staff
- Ensure clinical quality and compliance
- Review MAR charts and care documentation
- Build strong relationships with families and MDTs
Skills needed
- Airway management including tracheostomy care
- Ventilation management
- Enteral feeding (PEG/JEJ/NG)
- Experience with neurological or spinal conditions is beneficial.
Requirements
- NMC Pin with at least 2 years’ post qualification nursing experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong clinical judgement
- Flexibility to support regional packages
