Main duties of the job

We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to provide 2:1 care for a young boy in his family home in West Kirby. He enjoys watching Hey Duggee, sensory play, and trips to Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium, which are an important part of his routine. Working as part of a 2:1 team, you will support all aspects of his care, including personal care, physiotherapy stretches, play-based activities, community access, and any clinical needs. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to his wellbeing, comfort, and quality of life.

Job responsibilities

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service user's individual care and support plan. The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible. Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service user's right to privacy and dignity is maintained.
