We’re looking for compassionate, patient, and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a teenage male with complex care needs. In this rewarding position, you’ll provide personalised 1:1 care, ensuring he remains safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night. You’ll maintain a watchful eye and help create a calm, soothing environment so he can sleep safely and peacefully. As our client is non‑verbal, we’re seeking patient carers who can understand his cues and interpret his needs, ensuring he receives the highest standard of care. Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients may request either female or male staff. This isn’t just a job; it’s your opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3 months care experience
  • Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
  • Clear communication skills

Role Overview:

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user, providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service user’s individual care and support plan. The aim is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible. Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, you will always ensure the service user’s right to privacy and dignity is maintained.
