Meet Our Client
We are looking for compassionate, patient, and engaging Support Workers to provide dedicated 1:1 care for a bright and lovable 9-year-old boy within his family home. He is non-verbal and communicates using a Smartbox. He enjoys music, games, YouTube, sensory activities, and spending time on his iPad. He loves interaction and thrives on meaningful engagement, so we are looking for someone fun, attentive, and able to build a positive relationship with both him and his family.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference while supporting a child with complex care needs in a safe, nurturing, and family-centred environment.
The Role
As part of his care team, you will support him with:
- Personal care and daily routines
- PEG feeding and medication administration
- Seizure monitoring and management
- Passive exercises and mobility support
- Sensory play and interactive activities
- Music therapy and hydrotherapy sessions
- Encouraging communication, play, and engagement
- Promoting comfort, safety, and overall wellbeing at all times
What you’ll need
- Minimum 3 months’ care experience
- Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
- Clear communication skills
