By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for our young service users in Gateshead and surrounding areas.
In your role, you will provide essential, person-centred care to our service users. You’ll stay attentive and responsive to their needs, participating in activities they enjoy, such as socialising with friends and family, going on community outings, and engaging in sensory-based activities with the younger ones. This isn’t just a job – it’s a chance to have a significant impact on a service user’s life.
Pay Rates: £13.00 - £17.50 per hour
Shifts Available: Part Time, Days and Nights, Shifts ranging from 10 to 12-hour durations, Alternate weekend availability is required.
Essential Requirements:
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
