An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within an educational setting in Barnsley as a Healthcare assistant. Greenacre is a special school educating children and young people aged 3-19 years with severe and complex care needs.
At Greenacre, you’ll join our committed School Health Team, dedicated to supporting children with a variety of ongoing, complex healthcare needs.
Our team works hand-in-hand with teachers, teaching assistants, and pastoral staff to provide essential support for students with additional complex healthcare needs. This collaboration helps ensure that students can fully participate in their education while effectively meeting their needs.
Your role? we are looking for a friendly, dedicated, and compassionate team to provide highly skilled care to children who have additional healthcare needs, including: –

Enteral feeding

Administration of regular and emergency medication

Diabetes and epilepsy management

Personal care
-
Moving & handling
We are paying £12.50 per hour for this position
Approx. £100 per 8-hour shift
Shifts

16 Hours per week- Term Time only
