Healthcare Assistant – Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

Pay Rate: £15.00 – £19.00 per hour

Work Pattern: Part Time – Days, Mornings, Afternoons

Client Profile

We support an 18‑year‑old client with a lively personality, a love of pop music and sensory experiences. He enjoys music, television, community activities and needs personal care and clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, medication support, moving and handling.
• Assist with daily routines before school and accompany on the school bus.
• Support after school transport and community activities during holidays.
• Maintain calm, positive communication and build meaningful connections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months care experience.
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling.
• Clear communication skills.
• Driver’s licence preferred but not essential.
