At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs – we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements. We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment – and we’re looking for people who share those values.
You will be supporting a young man in his late teens with a big personality and a wide range of interests. Music plays a huge role in his life, and he particularly enjoys listening to Adele, songs from The Greatest Showman and relaxing music. He also enjoys spending time on his iPad and watching his favourite programmes, including Mickey Mouse, Disney, and Special Agent Oso. He likes getting out and about, whether that's going for walks, spending time outdoors, or attending football matches with his dad. During the day, care staff will accompany him on the bus to and from school, providing support throughout the journey, and will remain with him during the school day to ensure consistency of care. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting him to enjoy the activities he loves while promoting his wellbeing, engagement, and quality of life across home, school, and community settings.
