Meet Our Client
We’re expanding our services in Derbyshire and are seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team, supporting a 6-year-old girl who lives with her family in New Mills. She communicates in her own unique way, and we are looking for kind, patient individuals who can take the time to understand her personality, support her communication, and help her engage with her surroundings. Her sensory needs mean that everyday routines can sometimes be challenging, so a gentle and understanding approach is essential. You’ll help her feel safe, supported, and encouraged, offering reassurance and building trust along the way. Your role will include supporting her daily routines, assisting with personal care and mobility, and helping her settle comfortably for the night.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested females only to join their care team.
What You’ll Need
- At least 3 months care experience
- Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
- Clear communication skills
- Drivers with access to a vehicle
