Female Healthcare Assistant – Paediatric Complex Care 📍 NE10 Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour | £17.50 per hour on Bank Holidays Hours (Part Time): * 2 shifts per week * 8:00am – 8:00pm * Flexibility to work alternate weekends is essential Apollo Home Healthcare is recruiting a compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to provide 2:1 support for an 8-year-old girl with complex healthcare needs, within her home and community. Key Responsibilities: * Personal care and daily living support * PEG feeding, suctioning and oxygen therapy * Epilepsy care and seizure support * Moving and handling using specialist equipment * Supporting learning, play and daily activities About Our Client: Our client is an 8-year-old girl with complex needs including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual and hearing impairments, and developmental delay. She requires full support with all aspects of daily living. She enjoys sensory play, hydrotherapy, arts and crafts, stories, walks in the park, and interactive activities. She thrives on social interaction and enjoys being engaged in stimulating environments. Requirements: * Minimum 3 months' paid care experience in a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker role * Experience supporting children in a healthcare setting is essential * Experience with PEG, suctioning, oxygen therapy, epilepsy care and moving and handling is desirable * Right to work in the UK Female applicants only.
