About the Role

We’re looking for a compassionate, commercially minded Business Development Manager to help more people access safe, high‑quality complex care at home. As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for new enquiries, building trusted relationships with commissioners, case managers and families, and ensuring every new care package is shaped around the person’s needs. You can be based from our Heywood, Merseyside or West Midlands office, with regional travel and flexible home working.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead business development to generate new complex care referrals
  • Build strong relationships with Commissioners, ICBs, Local Authorities and Case Managers
  • Manage referrals and tenders including quotes and submissions
  • Support safe onboarding by working closely with clinical and operational teams
  • Set commercial rates with offices and finance
  • Contribute to marketing to raise awareness and generate enquiries
  • Maintain your pipeline for accurate forecasting
  • Take part in senior management out‑of‑hours escalation (approx. every 8 weeks)

What You’ll Need:

  • Full UK driving licence + vehicle
  • Healthcare experience (complex care preferred)
  • Proven Business Development Manager or sales background
  • Strong commissioner‑facing relationship skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, people‑first mindset
  • Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively
