Pay Rate: £13.00- £16.00 per hour.

Hours (Part Time): 2 – 3 shifts per week (including school support and 1 weekend night). Day shifts can run from 7:45am to 9:00pm. Flexibility to work alternate weekends is essential.

  • Personal care and daily living support
  • PEG feeding, suctioning and oxygen therapy
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Moving and handling using specialist equipment
  • Supporting learning, play and daily activities

About Our Client: Our client is a 17-year-old girl with complex needs. She requires full support with all aspects of daily living. She loves going to college and chatting with her friends as well as keeping up to date with Fashion and Beauty on social media. She thrives on social interaction and enjoys being engaged in stimulating environments.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 months' paid care experience in a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker role.
  • Experience supporting children in a healthcare setting is essential.
  • Experience with PEG, Suctioning, Ventilation, and moving and handling is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Female applicants only. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
