Main duties of the job
We are seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a teenage male with complex, non‑verbal care needs. In this rewarding position you will provide personalised 1:1 care, ensuring he remains safe, comfortable, and settled throughout the night. You will maintain a watchful eye and help create a calm, soothing environment so he can sleep safely and peacefully. Understanding his cues and interpreting his needs to provide the highest standard of care is essential. Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user, providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the individual care and support plan. The aim is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible. Care is provided in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the user's right to privacy and dignity is maintained.
