About This Role
We are looking for Healthcare Assistants to join a supportive 2:1 care team, providing specialist care for a young boy within his family home. He responds well to engaging sensory activities and benefits from a calm, reassuring approach when he becomes unsettled. His care team play an important role in helping him explore different sensory experiences and discover activities that he enjoys. You will work as part of a close-knit team to provide safe, consistent and engaging care while supporting his development, wellbeing and access to the wider community.
Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client’s family has requested Female healthcare assistants to join their team.
Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable. Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.
Essential Requirements
- Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
- Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
