About the Role

Apollogrid is the UK operating subsidiary of Rahvolt Group, a fast-growing leader in renewable energy. We specialise in premium solar PV systems and integrated energy storage solutions (solar + battery storage) for homes across the UK. We are looking for a qualified Solar PV Electrician to join our team based in Chasington. You will work in a team of two, carrying out high-quality solar PV and battery storage installations across London and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission solar PV systems and battery storage on domestic properties
  • Safely run and connect AC/DC cabling
  • Work alongside roofers and installers to complete full system installations
  • Test, certify and handover systems in line with MCS standards
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times
  • Deliver excellent customer service to homeowners

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
  • 2391 Certification (Inspection & Testing)
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to work at heights and in a team of two
  • Good communication skills and pride in workmanship
  • Previous experience in Solar PV and Battery Storage (desirable – training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Knowledge of current Health & Safety practices
