As a Systems Engineer, you shall perform a vital role in the development of reliable, cost-effective, high-volume fire detection products. The role involves the analysis and decomposition of product requirements and derivation of a system architecture.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Identify and prioritise requirements from business stakeholders and customers
- Develop valid, ranked, testable, traceable, unambiguous, consistent requirements for Apollo products
- Capture and organise product requirements and test cases in the Jama requirements tool with full traceability
- Creating the SysML model blocks in Enterprise Architect that are used to make the Black Box model
- Demonstrate the traceability throughout the product requirements and MBSE black box model
- Define, accept and own product use cases and their traceability
- Communication of requirements across the business
- Plan and manage own tasks and time
- Collaborate with other functions to continuously improve MBSE and design processes
- Coach colleagues on how to define and model embedded real-time systems with traceability to the requirements
- Demonstrate an adaptability approach to delivering artifacts on time with resilience and a willingness to embrace challenges
