The main purpose of this role is to lead and support the Process Engineering function, helping the team deliver effective day-to-day operations while improving processes, increasing capacity and supporting Apollo’s strategic growth.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, support and develop the Process Engineering team, helping colleagues understand priorities and work towards shared objectives
- Identify, plan and deliver continuous improvement projects that help improve manufacturing performance, efficiency and cost effectiveness
- Support good process governance, including clear procedures, effective change management and successful delivery of New Product Development/Introduction activity, including FAT/SAT validation
- Monitor and improve manufacturing capacity through data analysis, time studies, and system optimisation
- Work with colleagues across manufacturing and leadership teams to support operational excellence, business performance and future growth
What we’re looking for:
- Experience leading, supporting and developing people within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to analyse data, optimise processes, and implement effective operational improvements
- Good commercial awareness and the confidence to make balanced decisions that consider performance, cost and growth
- A well-organised and collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a range of priorities
