Learning Support Assistant (Term-Time Only)

Location: Feltham, Hounslow

Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and compassionate individual to make a genuine difference in the lives of children aged 3-11 with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties, including autism.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching and senior staff to support pupils both in the classroom and across wider learning environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a nurturing, structured setting and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pupils with their individual learning and development needs
  • Assisting in the delivery of creative and engaging lessons
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Assisting with general classroom organisation and preparation

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 3:45pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Attendance at approximately 18 staff meetings annually (Wednesday afternoons until 4:30pm)
