Location: Hayes & Uxbridge

Setting: Primary & Secondary All-Through SEND School

Salary: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temp-to-Perm opportunities available

About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs? Do you want a role where every day truly matters? We are seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a supportive all-through SEND setting in Hayes and Uxbridge. You will play a key role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential in a nurturing, structured environment. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals who are patient, resilient and committed to making a difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs (including ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)
  • Support class teachers to deliver engaging, differentiated learning
  • Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
  • Help pupils develop communication, social and independence skills
  • Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support with personal care where required (training provided if needed)

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
  • A calm, patient and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience in a school or care setting is desirable but not essential
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) are beneficial but not required
  • Graduates, career changers and those with support work backgrounds are encouraged to apply
