We are looking for a dedicated Damp and Mould Operative to join our team. In this role, you will visit customers' properties to assess and treat damp and mould, ensuring homes are safe, clean, and compliant with health standards. You will support customers by explaining the causes of damp and mould and helping them find long-term solutions. Each case will be handled with care, considering the seriousness of the problem and any customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend customer properties to identify and treat damp and mould issues.
  • Assess the type and severity of mould and apply appropriate treatment methods.
  • Provide advice to customers on prevention and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of visits, treatments, and materials used.
  • Work safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
Essential Criteria
  • Previous trades experience (e.g. property maintenance, plastering, joinery, or similar).
  • Due to the patch you are covering you will need to reside in the BS postcode.
  • You must possess a valid driving licence.

We are seeking someone with previous trades experience, such as property maintenance, plastering, joinery, or similar. While experience in damp and mould treatment is ideal, it isn’t essential as full training will be provided. You will need strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical processes, along with excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach. The role also requires the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
