Alongside responsibility for financial reporting, statutory compliance, treasury and governance, you'll be a key driver of finance transformation, improving systems, processes and controls while developing a high-performing finance team capable of supporting the next phase of the organisation's growth.

The Role

As Group Financial Controller, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Record-to-Report function, ensuring best-in-class financial reporting, governance and financial control across multiple UK and international entities.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading all financial accounting and external reporting activities across the Group.
  • Owning statutory reporting, annual accounts and external audit processes.
  • Driving improvements across financial controls, governance and risk management.
  • Leading finance transformation initiatives, including systems and process improvements.
  • Managing treasury, cashflow and working capital.
  • Partnering closely with FP&A and senior leadership to deliver timely, insightful financial information.
  • Developing and mentoring a high-performing financial accounting team.
  • Supporting the CFO in delivering a scalable, world-class finance function.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious and commercially minded finance leader with a passion for driving change.

  • You'll ideally bring
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
  • Previous experience as a Group Financial Controller, Head of Financial Control or senior finance leader within a complex, multi-entity organisation.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise (IFRS and UK GAAP).
  • A proven track record delivering finance transformation and process improvement.
  • Experience implementing or enhancing ERP systems and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence and attentionto detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the credibility to influence senior stakeholders across the business.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to join an exceptional organisation where finance is viewed as a true strategic partner to the business.

You'll work directly with an experienced CFO, influence business-wide transformation programmes and help shape the future direction of a high-performing finance function within a globally recognised organisation.
