Apointe are partnering with a global, instantly recognisable brand that requires an experienced Interim Group Reporting Manager to support the business through a critical audit period. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused assignment for a seasoned group reporting professional who knows exactly what “good” looks like in an audit environment and can bring structure, confidence and pace.
The role:
- Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the group reporting and audit process, acting as the central point of contact between the business and external auditors.
- This is very much a sleeves-rolled-up role, focused on getting the job done rather than long-term transformation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the group audit process end-to-end and acting as the primary audit liaison
- Preparing and reviewing consolidated group accounts
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies
- Managing complex technical accounting issues as they arise
- Coordinating inputs from local finance teams and maintaining clear audit trails
- Resolving audit queries efficiently to keep timelines on track
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in group reporting within large, complex or international organisations
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS essential)
- Calm, credible and confident working with senior stakeholders and external auditors
- Immediately available or available at short notice
If you’re an experienced interim who can step in, take control of the audit process and provide reassurance to the business, this is a strong, well-defined opportunity.
Happy to talk through the detail on a confidential basis.
