We’ve had a strong start to the year at Apointe. Good clients. Consistent job flow. Proper roles. So we’re building out the team. This role is specifically for recruiters who have experience delivering UK Finance roles; if that’s not your background, this probably isn’t the right fit.
The role: This is a delivery-focused position. The job is to find and build relationships with high-quality finance talent and support delivery across our live mandates. At Apointe, we work with private capital-backed and high-growth businesses, typically hiring at CFO-1 level (Head of FP&A, Financial Controller, Finance Director).
What you’ll be doing:
- Headhunting senior finance professionals across the UK
- Building a network you stay close to over time
- Speaking to candidates weekly and staying visible in your market
- Supporting delivery on retained and exclusive roles
- Working directly with the founders on live searches
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience recruiting Senior UK Finance roles
- Strong headhunting capability; you know how to identify and engage passive candidates
- Confident using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter to map markets and build pipelines
- Ideally exposure to private capital / PE-backed environments
- Strong communication; comfortable speaking with senior professionals
- Organised, consistent, and takes ownership
What this isn’t:
- Not a high-volume resourcing role
- Not admin-heavy
- Not KPI for the sake of it
