Apointe are partnering with a high-profile, internationally recognised organisation undergoing a significant period of transformation, as they look to appoint an Interim Head of FP&A. This is a business-critical, high-visibility mandate, reporting directly into the CFO and Group.
You will be responsible for building and embedding a best-in-class FP&A function, creating the structure, insight and forward-looking capability required to support strategic decision making.
The role:
- Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take full ownership of FP&A, building planning and forecasting capability from the ground up.
- Design and implement robust budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
- Deliver high-quality, forward-looking insight to support strategic decision making.
- Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership to understand performance drivers and future direction.
- Build financial models and scenario analysis to support key business decisions.
- Introduce structure, governance and cadence into financial planning processes.
- Improve visibility across the business, connecting financial performance to operational drivers.
- Support wider transformation initiatives, ensuring finance plays a central role in shaping the future state.
- Operate as a senior, hands-on leader, setting the standard and delivering outputs personally where required.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Proven experience operating at Head of FP&A / Senior FP&A Lead level.
- Strong track record of building or transforming FP&A functions.
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving or transformation-led environments.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight.
- Credibility and presence to operate effectively at CFO and Group level.
- Advanced financial modelling and forecasting capability.
