We are seeking a Trainee Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team in Northern Ireland. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for generating new client leads, nurturing a healthy pipeline, and contributing to Apogee’s business growth. If you are motivated by sales and excited to work in a target-driven environment, this is the opportunity for you.
What You Will Do
- Generate value-added leads and work towards daily and monthly targets
- Conduct outbound calling to new prospects, maintaining a strong sales pipeline
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to ensure smooth client interactions
- Keep the CRM system up to date with accurate client and lead information
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and track industry trends
- Engage with prospects through various communication channels, including cold outreach, email, and social media
- Schedule appointments for Account Managers and assist with the sales process
- Progress towards attending and participating in client meetings with structured training
- Tailor solutions to meet clients\’ specific needs and serve as their primary contact
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure mutually beneficial agreements
- Consistently exceed sales targets and objectives
- Report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to the management team
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break (40 hours per week).

Experience and Skills Required
- Previous experience in business development or proactive outbound calling
