As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for producing, finishing, and delivering printed materials to a high standard and within strict deadlines. You will play a key role in ensuring every job meets both client expectations and our internal quality standards.
What you will be doing:
- Setting up and printing jobs from digital files
- Preparing and manipulating documents before print
- Operating and maintaining print and finishing equipment
- Monitoring output quality and resolving basic production issues
- Accurately recording work using internal systems
- Packaging and labelling completed work clearly and correctly
- Ensuring all deadlines are met in line with client requirements
- Managing stock movement from the loading bay into production
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace (5S standards)
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and shift teams during handovers
This role is based in Bonhill, London – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Either 10am – 6pm or 11am – 7pm on a rota basis.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Previous experience working in a print room, production environment, or similar operational setting
- Experience operating print, finishing, or production equipment
- Proven ability to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining quality standards
- Confidence working with digital files and basic document handling or manipulation
- Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or production issues independently
- Experience working within structured processes and systems (job tracking, logging, etc.)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, particularly across shift handovers
- Experience within managed print services or high‑volume production print
- Familiarity with print management or workflow systems (for example Time Harvest or similar)
- Understanding of 5S or workplace organisation standards
