JOB DETAILS
As part of Apogee's Managed Print Service, the Onsite Service Assistant plays a key role in delivering an outstanding workplace experience for our client.
Based on site at a prestigious corporate location, you will act as the face of Apogee, providing a visible, professional, and customer-focused service to employees and visitors.
This is a highly client-facing position where building positive relationships, communicating effectively, and providing responsive support are just as important as the operational aspects of the role.
You will work closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider Apogee support team to ensure a seamless and first-class customer experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and approachable point of contact for all print and workplace support enquiries.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and ensure issues are resolved or escalated appropriately.
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders and end users.
- Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service and maintain excellent client satisfaction levels.
- Proactively monitor print devices and ensure they are fully operational and ready for use.
- Manage consumables, including replenishment, ordering, installation, and recycling activities.
- Provide basic device support, including clearing paper jams and resolving minor operational issues.
- Monitor service performance and communicate updates to the Area Service Manager.
- Work collaboratively with Apogee and client teams to ensure contractual service levels are achieved.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Apogee positively at all times.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30. This role is fully onsite, five days per week.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, concierge, facilities, workplace support, retail, reception, or front-of-house role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, confident, and articulate when interacting with people at all levels.
- Strong customer focus with a genuine desire to help others.
- Well-presented, personable, and approachable.
- Able to build positive relationships and establish credibility quickly.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a wider team.
- Reliable, proactive, and solution-focused.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working within a corporate or professional services environment.
- Experience supporting workplace services, facilities, or managed service operations.
- Basic technical knowledge or an interest in technology and office equipment.
