SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
As a Presales Quote Specialist, you will play a critical role in enabling our sales and presales teams to move faster and more efficiently. You will be responsible for producing accurate, timely, and compliant quotes for standard IT hardware, End User Computing (EUC), and licensing opportunities. This is a high‑impact, process‑driven role where attention to detail, organisation, and consistency are key. You will work within defined pricing frameworks, allowing senior presales specialists to focus on more complex solution design.
What you will be doing
- Producing accurate, timely quotes using approved templates, pricing models, and rate cards
- Supporting transactional quoting across EUC, IT hardware, software, and related services
- Managing multiple quote requests while meeting defined turnaround times
- Ensuring all pricing is compliant with internal margin and approval frameworks
- Updating CRM and quoting systems with accurate and complete information
- Identifying requests that fall outside standard scope and escalating appropriately
- Working closely with sales, presales, and suppliers to gather and validate pricing
- Supporting continuous improvement of templates, processes, and efficiency
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one‑hour lunch break. This role is on a hybrid basis, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous experience in an office based role involving administration, data handling, coordination, or customer support
- Strong attention to detail and high level of numerical and data accuracy
- Comfortable working with structured information, templates, or defined processes
- Experience using Microsoft Excel or similar tools to manage or update data
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or requests in a structured and time‑sensitive environment
- Clear and professional written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Interest in technology, IT services, or commercial/operational environments
- Experience in a sales support, commercial admin, service desk, finance admin, or logistics coordination role
- Exposure to pricing, quoting, billing, or order processing activities
- Experience using CRM or workflow management systems
- Familiarity with IT hardware, EUC, or software licensing environments
