JOB DETAILS
This is a highâimpact leadership role with both strategic and operational influence. You will lead and evolve our procurement function across managed print and IT resale, ensuring we have a resilient, costâeffective, and forwardâthinking supply chain that supports both growth and customer excellence. You will work closely with senior leadership and crossâfunctional teams, bringing insight, structure, and innovation into how we source, manage, and optimise supplier relationships. At the same time, you will lead and develop a capable team, embedding best practice and raising the bar for procurement across the organisation.
What you will be doing:
- Defining and delivering a procurement strategy that drives cost optimisation, performance, and longâterm value
- Building strong, strategic relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors across a complex, multiâvendor environment
- Leading commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, robust contracts, and highâquality service delivery
- Driving supplier performance through structured evaluation, governance, and risk management
- Enhancing procurement processes, policies, and systems to improve efficiency, compliance, and data visibility
- Partnering with sales, operations, and finance to align procurement with demand planning and customer commitments
- Using market insight and data to identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and competitive advantage
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small procurement team to deliver consistently high standards
A typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a oneâhour lunch break. The role is ideally hybrid from either Lincoln or London, however we are open to other arrangements for candidates based elsewhere.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience in a senior procurement or purchasing leadership role within managed print, IT, or a related technology environment.
- A strong track record of supplier management, contract negotiation, and delivering measurable cost savings
- Experience managing subcontractors and navigating complex supplier ecosystems
- The ability to design and implement procurement processes and systems that scale with business growth
- A collaborative approach, working effectively across sales, operations, and finance
- Experience leading and developing teams, with a focus on capability and accountability
- A professional procurement qualification such as CIPS would be advantageous, but not essential
