The purpose of the Refurbishment Engineer is to perform high-quality refurbishment, repair, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring they are restored to optimal working condition. This role is responsible for diagnosing issues, disassembling, reassembling, and testing devices to meet technical and safety standards. The Refurbishment Engineer works closely with other teams to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions, contributing to minimising downtime and enhancing product longevity. This is working full time in the Lincoln office.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Experience in a hands‑on technical, engineering, IT hardware, or equipment repair environment, or a relevant technical qualification (such as engineering, electronics, IT hardware, or similar discipline)
  • Ability to learn and apply fault finding and diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Confidence using tools and working with equipment to dismantle, repair, reassemble, and test hardware or devices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when carrying out practical or technical work
  • Ability to follow structured processes within a workshop or production‑style environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
