JOB DETAILS We are looking for a dedicated Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Operativeto join our team.
In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for safely collecting products across designated locations across the UK and overseeing warehouse operations.
Your primary goal is to ensure timely collections, maintain vehicle safety, and administer warehouse activities to meet customer requirements.
This position encompasses the Northeast region but also involves monthly travel to Sheffield and Scotland, as well as potential visits to other parts of the UK when required.
You will need to be over 25 years old due to company insurance and also have a UK clean driving licence to be considered Working pattern is Monday to Thursday, 08:30am to 16:30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4pm (30 mins lunch) Duties Drive vehicles to various UK destinations for customer deliveries and collections, ensuring compliance with all driving laws and regulations.
Deliver and collect products within specified deadlines while maintaining a consistent schedule.
Determine the most efficient routes to delivery and collection addresses to optimise delivery times.
Safely load and unload products from vehicles, following proper handling procedures Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any issues to supervisors promptly.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Hold a valid UK driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Proven experience in driving and safe vehicle operation.
Prior experience in a warehouse environment role is ideal Familiarity with utilising a pallet truck An IPAF qualification and access platform operation experience would be preferred but we are willing to offer this training to the right candidate.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
