Job Summary

Do you love helping and retaining clients, working alongside a sales team to develop and grow the business but without a sales target? Then keep reading.

Working out of our busy Head office in Maidstone, this role is ideal for someone who loves being busy and working in a driven sales environment, with a focus on retaining the existing base and supporting the sales process.

Every day is different; you could be out meeting clients, dealing with complaints or generating revenue through relationships. Your client base is yours to manage as the role provides flexibility, being office or home based to suit the day ahead. You will work alongside an Account Manager and build up relationships to be able to manage the customer yourself. This role does offer good progression opportunities based on your performance.

Please note you will be expected to travel to the London office 1 day a week to work with the sales teams, and you will be given a car allowance/car to visit customers etc.

If you do well, we reward high performance with a commission and bonus scheme, and with our wide range of products, it allows us to be a one-stop shop for businesses of all sizes, which suits people that like to ask questions!

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Managing client retention and needs of every customer.
  2. Tracking contracts that are soon to be expired and contacting customers.
  3. Responding to customer queries and addressing sales complaints in a timely manner.
  4. Having financial awareness to deliver justified proposals.
  5. Analyzing customer feedback and developing new techniques to ensure customer retention.
  6. Asset management (top tier accounts).
  7. Resolving invoice queries with Credit Control.
  8. Understanding and engaging with Engineering and Technical teams.
  9. Using the company CRM system.

Experience and Skills Required

You will be working in a fast-paced sales environment or have supported sales teams previously and have a real desire to deliver excellent client experience.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of data and ability to quickly interpret analytics.
  2. Evidence of improving customer experience, engagement, and growth.
  3. Superior communication skills, emotional understanding, and intellectual dexterity to work effectively within a business that is undergoing transformation.
  4. Highly flexible and comfortable with change.
  5. Able to work effectively at pace.
  6. Highly proficient in MS Office.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with any customer or internal teams.
  8. Ability to solve problems and think on your feet.
