We are seeking an articulate, detail-oriented Onsite Service Assistant to join our team at a prestigious client site. This is a unique opportunity to work in a professional setting where you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting our managed print services, ensuring a seamless experience for our client.
What You Will Do
- Receive, prioritise and process reprographics requisitions.
- Operate photocopying machinery/equipment efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensure appropriate stocks of materials and supplies are maintained.
- Maintain records of photocopying/resources used.
- Maintain and undertake basic repairs to equipment where practical or arrange alternative servicing.
- Be responsible for the safe storage of equipment and materials and the disposal of waste products in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure a safe, calm, and friendly environment. Adhere to and observe health and safety requirements and other relevant regulations (e.g., COSHH).
- Provide an efficient postal service to company premises in line with department best practices and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Create and prepare electronic files as stipulated by management and/or client requests. Carry out quality control checks on your own work and that of others when necessary.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in line with quality control procedures. Meet and maintain service level agreements for company requirements.
- Arrange collections for international deliveries with external courier companies and sort all incoming mail for efficient and accurate distribution. Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
The typical working pattern is Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30, with a one-hour lunch break. This is an onsite role, five days per week.
