Working alongside a globally renowned pharmaceutical company providing gold standard care to prostate cancer patients, you’ll be managing your own caseload of patients in an NHS clinic setting together with virtual patient touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working as part of a supportive, dynamic team of Specialist Nurses – focused on the delivery of this Patient Support Programme.
  • Covering clinics at The Royal Surrey County Hospital as well as covering virtual clinics from home.
  • You will be involved in making and delivering scheduled support calls and outpatient clinic visits.
  • As an experienced oncology nurse, you will provide clinical reviews, toxicity management and patient education and support.
  • Be at the heart of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
  • Provide continuity of care for your patients.
  • Working as an advocate for your patient’s needs, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own diary, ensuring time to build trusting relationships with your patients, carers and other stakeholders.

About You

  • You’ll be a current registered nurse with proven experience in SACT and urology nursing.
  • You’ll have experience of working within a haematological / oncology environment.
  • Current UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
  • Willingness and the ability to travel to clinics is an essential requirement.
  • Any Patient Support Programme experience would be an advantage.
  • We are looking for an exceptional nurse who shares our passion for improving patient outcomes and who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
