The purpose of the role is to engineer detailed solutions that deliver the contractually agreed customer-specific outcome at the highest value and lowest risk point for Maersk and the customer; resulting into Maersk implementations becoming a competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering

Translate sold solution designs into detailed solution configuration designs
-
Understand and connect customers’ existing business processes, org design and technology landscape to craft the detailed Maersk solution to create measurable business value

Conduct and lead business, functional and technical design workshops with customers
-
Perform fit gap analysis between Maersk LL product functionality and the client’s requirements
-
Document use cases, functional and technical system requirements
-
Define the overall solution architecture using the most beneficial set of combination of systems, platforms and networks

Specify the overall integration architecture between different customer systems and the Maersk platforms
-
Set the scope for the Partner Onboarding activities

Align the detailed solution design with the customer and reconcile the design against the contractually agreed scope

Consult Pursuit Team on demand for detailed scoping and estimation questions
Orchestrating

Assist sales cycles as an on-demand consulting capacity for qualifying opportunities

Collaborate with all relevant functions & provide necessary assistance to design the detailed solution

Transition all solution aspects to the relevant Maersk functions (mainly CPM/CX)
-
Act as the ‘quality inspection’ function during the implementation

Coordinate across Maersk products & functions and the customer to ensure alignment around the detailed solution design
