We're looking for a Customs Apprentice to join our growing Customs team.

As a Customs Apprentice, you'll learn how to prepare customs declarations, support import and export processes, and ensure shipments comply with UK customs regulations.
You'll work alongside experienced Customs professionals who will support your development every step of the way.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the preparation and processing of import and export customs declarations.
- Learning how Duty, VAT and customs charges are calculated and applied.
- Working with customs systems and digital tools to process customs activities.
- Ensuring customs documentation is accurate, compliant and completed on time.
- Building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including digital and AI‑enabled solutions.
- Participating in team projects and learning opportunities.
- Developing a strong understanding of customs legislation, compliance and international trade.
- What We’re Looking For
You don't need previous Customs experience. We're looking for people with the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in English Language.
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines.
- A positive and proactive approach to learning.
