The QSHE & Facilities Manager role supports the management team by ensuring compliance on the governance agenda and maintaining adherence to legal standards, company Health & Safety policies, industry accreditations (e.g., ISO, BRC), Food Safety Standards when applicable, and health & safety training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage external security, catering, and cleaning contractors, ensuring all legal requirements and safety cadences are met.
- Support and manage the MHE fleet with central facilities.
- Support all pre‑planned maintenance schedules.
- Manage all waste streams for the site.
- Ensure the 'know your building folder' is trained out and updated regularly.
- Be familiar with and understand in‑country Health & Safety related legislative requirements.
- Support, document, and manage reports.
- Manage interaction with multiple departments and third‑party contractors.
- Competent with Microsoft Office packages.
- Provide relevant training for the role where required.
Qualifications
- Exceptional knowledge and capability to achieve safety and legal commitments.
- Experience maintaining accreditation standards (e.g., ISO, BRC).
- Track KPIs and provide updates for the site management team.
- Track KPIs for supplier and contractor performance, including management of Planned Preventative Maintenance activities.
- Familiar with legislation pertaining to the management of suppliers carrying out maintenance and related property infrastructure activities.
- Monitor PPM for the sites.
- Complete audits and health checks, demonstrating due diligence, identifying potential risks, and engaging accountable lead managers to address them.
- Outstanding organisational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to achieve set targets or goals.
