About the role APM Cleaning & Repair Ltd is looking for a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality cleaning services across client sites. The successful candidate will supervise and support cleaning operatives, monitor standards, allocate duties, complete checks and audits, and ensure work is delivered safely and in accordance with client requirements. This is a hands-on position. You must be willing to undertake cleaning duties and provide operational cover when required. A full UK driving licence is essential because the role requires travel between client locations. Main responsibilities Supervise, support and provide direction to cleaning operatives. Schedule and allocate cleaning duties across assigned sites. Ensure cleaning work is completed to the required specification and standard. Carry out cleaning audits and site inspections. Complete dynamic risk assessments and relevant health and safety checks. Train, coach and provide practical guidance to cleaning staff. Monitor staff attendance and report operational or performance concerns. Manage and record cleaning-product, equipment and stock usage. Minimise product waste and identify stock or equipment requiring replacement. Inspect cleaning equipment and report faults or maintenance requirements. Ensure daily checklists, satisfaction records and other required documents are completed. Respond professionally to client requirements and service issues. Support cleaners with their duties where necessary. Provide cleaning cover during absences or operational difficulties. Travel between client sites as required.
