We are looking for a reliable and caring Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for individuals accessing vital mental health support.
Location: Swalwell, NE16
Type: Part‑time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 3 hours per day
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise communal and private areas
- Maintain hygiene in bathrooms and kitchen spaces
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Ensure a calm and respectful presence on‑site
- Report all defects/hazards immediately to the Operations Manager
- Comply with COSHH, manual handling, risk assessment, colour coding and other cleaning policies
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience
- Respectful approach, especially in sensitive environments
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
