We are currently seeking a Small Works Coordinator. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of small-scale projects within the facility management (FM) domain. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, the Small Works Supervisor will manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are executed within scope, on time, and to the required quality and safety standards. This role involves close coordination with various stakeholders, including subcontractors and internal teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.

As part of this role, you will:

  • Manage all additional chargeable works, including subcontractor management for these activities.
  • Ensure safe and comprehensive delivery of small projects, service records are kept up to date and readily available at site, and any highlighted remedial works are scheduled for completion.
  • Define detailed scope of works with client.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors, site engineers and surveyors during site visits to facilitate project requirements.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with current Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Provide clear scope of work as per Apleona and client process.
  • Adhere to KPI deadlines and plan weekly FM PPM tasks.
  • Liaise with FM Manager regarding any shortfalls in labour or PPM end dates.
  • Communicate effectively with site team, client and 3rd party contractors.
  • Schedule works.

The ideal candidate will need to have:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in small-scale projects within the facility management sector.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in identifying and mitigating risks, and solving problems effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to use computers to intermediate level for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

You will work 37.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level. You will be paid an annual salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience. You also will have access to Apleona employee benefits that will be available to you as soon as you start.
