Training & Development
We are currently seeking a professional site-based Mechanical Maintenance Technician based at our client site in Hursley. The role is focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs, and fabric maintenance of the building. You will support and participate in an on-call rota which is operated from within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested.
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers, and colleagues with interaction on a professional level being a key requirement for this position.
Skills & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar recognised qualification
- Formal Plumbing qualifications, such as NVQ level
- Knowledge of Building Services
- Maintenance and Cleaning of FCUs
- Water Testing (L8), Fire Alarm testing and general fabric, handyperson tasks
- Working on and managing PPMS from CAFM system
- Full UK Driving license
We will provide you with full training on specialist items once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar front of house environment within the Facilities Management industry. You will work 40 hours per week but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
