Are you a fully qualified electrician with commercial experience? Are you looking for a company to offer upskilling and training? JCW Energy Services Ltd are seeking an experienced electrician who can work within well-known commercial environments, carrying out all areas of electrical installation, compliance, maintenance, and remedial tasks. This is a full-time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across the central belt of Scotland.
We’re looking for:
- Candidate must have achieved the SVQ Level 3 Certificate in electrical installation jointly awarded by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) and the SJIB or an approved equivalent (City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in electrical Installation etc)
- City & Guilds 2382 required.
- 18th Edition desirable.
- City & Guilds 2391/2394/5, desirable but not essential.
- Otherwise, possess sound knowledge of testing and inspection.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance.
- Experience in carrying out EICR's in a commercial environment.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems or willingness to learn how to work on them.
- Forward thinking proactive approach.
- Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal helpdesk/admin and clients at varying levels.
- Client customer facing experience.
- Good understanding of electrical certification.
- Experience in using electrical multi-function testers.
Package includes:
- Competitive salary of circa basic up to £48,000 (including travel time which is paid door to door).
- Overtime available on top of the stated salary.
- Additional payment of £100 per week as part of on-call rota (currently 1 day in every 8).
- Van and fuel card (personal use permitted).

- All tools supplied apart from hand tools.
- Megger multifunction tester supplied.
