We are currently seeking a professional Lead Engineer with Electrical Bias. Based at a varied industrial and commercial site in Goole, the role is focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs and installations, and leading a team of engineers. Work at other client locations may be required, as will the need to support and participate in an on-call rota which is operated from within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested.
As Maintenance Lead Engineer, you will ensure all PPM and reactive works are completed safely and within specified timescales in line with the contract SLA. You will also conduct audits on the works completed by the in-house team and sub-contractors to ensure quality, compliance and safety standards are upheld and implemented.
The Electrical Lead Engineer will work within and lead a small team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers and Apleona colleagues with interaction on a professional level being a key requirement for this position.
Skills & Experience:
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation
- Formal Electrical Qualification such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Experience of leading/supervising a small team of engineers
- Computer literate
- Valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience in working at corporate/manufacturing locations
- Mechanical Qualification
- High voltage qualification
- Plumbing skills and experience
- HVAC operational knowledge
- IOSH Managing Safely
Well provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar environment. You will work 40 hours per week and be paid up to £47,000 and have access to Apleona employee benefits that will be available to you as soon as you start.
