Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 / 09:00 - 18:00

We are currently seeking a professional site-based Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer based at the campus of the University of Hertfordshire. The role is focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs and installations. You will support and participate in an on-call rota which is operated from within the site-based team. Occasional overtime may be requested.

As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, the role will be orientated around electrical works with a requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other non-electrical works which fall within the scope of the contract. This could be a variety of jobs relating to maintaining, repairing, and installing assets around the site whether it be a specific piece of equipment, works to a building or the site infrastructure.

The static Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers and colleagues with interaction on a professional level being a key requirement for this position.

Skills & Experience:

  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation plus any other formal electrical qualifications such as Level 3 qualification.
  • Mechanical awareness, FCU & AHU maintenance tasks.
  • Water Testing (L8), Fire Alarm testing and general handyperson tasks.

We will provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar environment.
