Location: London, EC2P 2SR
Hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7am-7pm, 1 in 5/6 weeks OOH emergency callout cover. There is also an enhanced call out allowance (built into salary) and overtime rates with the role.
We are currently seeking a professional site-based M&E Lead Engineer based at a prestigious commercial client site. The role is focused on delivery of planned preventative maintenance along with additional works, reactive fault finding, repairs and installations. You will assist in the day to day running of your M&E team.
As a qualified M&E Lead Engineer, you will liaise with the Account Manager to monitor the progress of all PPM and Reactive works to ensure that all jobs are being completed correctly and within the set times and achieve the most efficient and effective running of the buildings. As the Lead M&E Engineer, you will manage all breakdowns, reactive and PPM works as required using your skills in supporting the team in resolving problems. You will also be fully conversant with the permit to work duties and assist in the operation of the system.
The Lead M&E Engineer will work within a team and contribute at both an individual and team level to provide exceptional services and levels of compliance to our client and customers by leading a team of engineers. The ability to develop good working relationships with our client, customers, sub-contractors and colleagues with interaction on a professional level is a key requirement for this position.
Skills & Experience:
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation plus any other formal electrical qualifications
- Electrical awareness, BMS operation, UPS, switchboards and Simmtronic lighting system
- Mechanical awareness, FCUs, Fire damper testing & water system maintenance tasks
- Water Testing (L8) and general handyperson tasks
- Experience of overseeing a team of engineers and leading by example
Well provide you with full training once you start and make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience of working in a similar environment.
You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7am-7pm and you will have access to employee benefits that will be available to you as soon as you start.
