Static Site Based Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical) located at Colmore Row, Birmingham.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00

We are currently seeking a professional Multiskilled Engineer with both Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge who will undertake the planned maintenance, reactive fault finding and repairs, and occasional installation based within a core contract across the region. You will work independently to undertake the Planned Maintenance tasks requested, ensuring compliance with the specification, PPM, Schedules and Procedures, complete electronic/paperwork records, and provide quotations for outstanding actions. You will carry out the required electrical tests and record the results on completion of electrical repairs and installations.

As the Site Multiskilled Engineer, you may be required to provide emergency call-out support in respect of our clients' needs in line with a rota basis.

Skills & Experience:

  • Formal electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulation
  • Level 2 & 3 formal Mechanical or Plumbing Qualification
  • Experience in a similar Facilities Management role
  • Knowledge of BMS Systems

Job Role:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all building systems and assets.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to a high technical standard.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors on site, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with contract requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within the CAFM system, including job updates, asset information, and compliance documentation.
