As Technical Services Manager you are responsible for leading the technical services team of 5 staff, to drive technical excellence at Colworth Park, ensuring SHE policies are rigorously enforced with a compilation of technical reports. You will be liaising with the client to ensure a strong understanding of their needs and owning and delivering larger/technically complex projects. You need to drive energy management as a key part of this role, and deliver monthly financial reports. This is a key role where you will ensure a high performing team that meets the expectations of the client at all times, ensuring the PPM and reactive maintenance required is done in a safe, efficient way that meets all legislative requirements. This role will require travel to site when on standby/call out, due to the location of the site your own transport is essential.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong electrical qualifications C&G or equivalent
- AP2 Electrical systems competent person
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client delivery mindset with a focus on excellence and efficiency
- Able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Experience of CAFM is desirable
- Experience in commercial HVAC
- Strong people management experience and skillset
- Sound understanding of relevant SHE legislation
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desirable
- Experience with a BMS platform (preferably Trend)
- Experience of Lenel Security Systems
- Degree or other qualification in engineering or building services
We’ll make sure that you have everything you need to do a great job. You will already have experience gained in a similar role, in a demanding, fast paced environment. You will work 37.5 hours per week plus but will need to be flexible to ensure service delivery at the highest level, this will include 1 in 5 weeks call out/standby rota.
