Apleona Professional Services is a multi-disciplinary specialist in workplace interior solutions and services, providing a robust end-to-end portfolio, including space strategy, interior design, move management and relocation services, interior fit out and refurbishment, and furniture management services. We are the workplace project arm of the leading Facilities Management company Apleona UK.
We’re currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to focus on developing new business opportunities across London & Southern England. You will concentrate on identifying and securing new clients, nurturing new relationships, developing new market sectors, and creating a pipeline of new opportunities. Working as part of the northern team you will directly contribute to the development of new project opportunities and support bidding for new business activity that is pivotal to securing new customers outside the range of our existing clients. In addition, you will provide accurate sales forecasting and sales reports on a monthly basis to the Business Unit Director; and work closely with the senior management team in refining regional business development strategies to ensure co-ordination and alignment of all business activities.
As an Apleona Business Development Manager, we’re looking for:
- Experience of the workspace sector with a successful track record in securing new business in a similar role
- Experience of developing and leveraging relationships in a commercial context
- Ability to work in a team and with cross-functional business teams
- Hold an extensive understanding of the corporate interiors, fit out, relocation and move management market and its processes
- Experience of working across the London & South of England commercial office interiors sector
- Ability to foster and retain good relationships with clients
- Excellent networking, project identification, negotiation and closing skills
- Degree and / or relevant professional qualification or equivalent
- Must have a UK driving license and access to personal vehicle.
