Apleona are looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Head of Procurement to lead our UK procurement strategy. In this senior leadership role, you will manage high-value supplier relationships, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance across our procurement operations. If you are a strong communicator with strategic vision and a passion for innovation, we want to hear from you.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement UK-wide procurement strategy
- Lead and inspire a high-performing procurement team
- Manage multi-million-pound budgets and strategic sourcing
- Build strong supplier partnerships and oversee contract management
- Ensure procurement compliance and support audit processes
What you will bring:
- A degree in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain or a technical field
- CIPS or equivalent certification (desirable)
- Demonstrable leadership experience in procurement, ideally within UK facilities management
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and compliance
- Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- A commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and continuous improvement
